This small hotel/restaurant is run by a couple who make you feel like part of their family. They have renovated their ridge top hotel so that most rooms have beautiful views of the river below. Each room has a balcony with a table and chairs for relaxation. The glass door to the balcony allows for the view at all times. Some prior posters complained that the room was dark. While this may be true at the front of the room, near the closet, it is a minor problem when considering the room as a whole. The bed is excellent, as is the shower and bath. The real treat is that if you book at this hotel you get to eat at the restaurant. Alain is the chef, Francoise the waitperson. Everything that comes out of the kitchen is first class, fresh and mostly seafood. The restaurant is not open seven days a week and that accounts for some of the complaints posted. But, it is understandable that owners would want to take a small break during the week. The breakfast buffet selection leaves little to be desired. Our room was 70 euros, dinner and breakfast was an additional 30 euros. So, for 130 euros per day, the two of us had a comfortable room with a view and two filling meals, one a gourmet creation. The hotel is well located for visiting the Guf of Morbihan, Quiberon peninsula, Carnac, Vannes and many other locations. If you are a hiker, there is a Grand Randonne trail right out of town. We originally booked for four days and wound up staying for a week. Need I say more?
