We stayed at the Hotel Ilga while traveling from Venice to the Cinque Terra because we thought it would be a nice half-way point. Well, we wish we just kept on driving! The hotel is not easy to find as it advertises that it is in Parma. Well it is not in Parma. Once you do find it, you are intstantly bombarded by the smell of smoke and cigarettes in the lobby. We were there on a Saturday night and everything around it closed down around 6pm. It was like a ghost town and now I know why.
The beds were like cardboard, but the price you can't beat, so Only stay here if you absolutely must!
