The Airport Hotel, as it's name indicates, is 10 min ride from the airport which was its only positive feature. The room was outdated andbthe beds were not clean. The resturant that is open around the clock served average food. The hotel personel and wait staff was friendly and helpful. For a similar price other hotels in Budapest will be a better value.

My stay at this hotel was paid for by a Hungarian company. They have been made aware that I, and my colleagues, would not step foot in the hotel again. The bar staff are the most horrendous I have ever come across. After complaining about the beer being made up from the 'slops' sat on the side (which was called 'fresh' as all beer from the barrel was fresh apparently even if it had sat on the side for 30 minutes) we then saw the bar maid make three 'fresh' Sopronis from a heineken that had been drank out of previous (which was refused for being flat as it was made from said slops). This behaviour alerts me to severe hygiene problems within the hotel. The severity of this problem was so bad I had to have a day off sick, which is my first in 5 years. Also we paid to have our flights brought forward as we couldn't bare to stay in the hostile environment another night. Also if you order food, beware of the waitress ringing the food through the till, then personally walking in to see the chef.
Very unprofessional behaviour from a poor hotel in such an amazing city.

During our stay we noticed the bar maid keeping stale beer and topping it up and passing it off as fresh beer when we asked her to stop this her attitude to us changed for every day after we were treated like something on the bottom of her shoe it was disgusting her attitude when talking to Hungarian people was clear she was hated us!taking orders for our food electronically then going into the kitchen and obviously telling the staff the food was for us i no longer eat here!total disgrace!

I understand why most have reviewed as very good and maybe I was just unlucky. The rooms are clean and comfortable but there is considerable noise transmission between connecting rooms. Not sure what they meant by telling me my room was noisy because it was "connecting". All I know is I could clearly hear the occupants next door talking loudly when I was really tired. I got moved which was fine, but this is not a quiet hotel. The noise from the bar carries all the way up to the 4th floor. I am probably more sensitive to noise than average. If you are insist on a "non connecting" room! Oh, the restaurant evening meal was very good
