“Great for kids!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 July 2011

We had a lovely weekend stay at The Eiders and found it great for a family stay (with small children). Our room was set up with two extra single beds (not foldouts etc.) and our kids LOVED the duck pond. In fact, they were crazy about the ducks, which gave us lots of lovely time to read the paper etc.. There was plenty to do when it came to day trips. We went on a seal trip and there are also plenty of nearby gardens and historical sites to visit. Our hosts were lovely and had thought of everything. Lovely breakfast, too. Highly recommended!

“Couldn't of asked for anything more. The best B & B you could ever stay at.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 May 2011

I stayed at the Eiders in February this year, with my Mum and Dad. We had the best stay we could ask for. Caroline and James Jarvis are very friendly and welcoming, with cake and Tea on arrival. Rooms are lovely, lots of room and lovely view of the duck pond.
Breakfast was excellent so many choices, an we also had some evening meals at the Dormy Hotel which James and Caroline also help to run and again, this was excellent.
I would recommend this B and B to anyone. We love it so much we have made 2 more bookings already this year! Brilliant value for money as well.
Thank you for a lovely stay!

If you like personal service then this is is the place for you. Have stayed in some of the top hotels (Sheretos, Hiltons and the Ritz) but never got service like this.

“Everything you want from a b&b”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 March 2011

We stayed for for nights with our two month-old and had a wonderful time.

Caroline gave us a fantastic welcome.

The room was spotless and spacious with great views of the duck pond.

Full English breakfast was excellent too.
