Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, very very clean and really good breakfast! Highly recommended! A bit far from downtown but there are buses nearby.

We stayed at Hotel Costa Linda for three nights in July. Very spacious room, clean. Nice pool, very helpful staff,.
The buffet breakfast was great, and the staff will also cook you fresh eggs, anyway you wish. The restaurant serves good value meals.
The beach is nearby (5 mins), buses to Porlamar also nearby.

We visited the Island for a wedding and were not disappointed by this hotel. OTher guests had other accomodation in El Agua and throughout the island and - in comparison - we were very happy with our choice.

The hotel is clean, the rooms are old but charming (choose an upper floor rooms, the ground floor ones I found slightly dark and depressing) with a hammock on the balcony. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool and bar area is lovely, particulary in the evening with the ambient lighting.

The food in the restaurant in the evening is decent and well priced. The breakfast is fantastic (if you are a fruit fan particularly) although if you come too late they often ran out of things.

El Agua itself is very quiet in the evenings, with not many choices for restaurants. This is because most Venezuelan tourists stay in Porlamar or Pampatar and travel to the beaches during the day. So if you want to party the evenings away (without taking a taxi) its not the place to stay.

I stay 15 days in Costa Linda hotel. I use TripAdvisor reviews to choose this option but now I think that could be better.
The hotel is nice. Spacious rooms, a good pool, near of beach, a bar with good cocktails, a restaurant, some facilities like towels, chairs and umbrellas on the beach (with partnership of two good restaurants), free wi-fi with good bandwidth, cable TV and some others things.

But I can't give 10 to this hotel for these things:
Along 15 days the breakfast is the same "every day" and beside the breakfast area exist a street with a terrible smell of trash and rotten things. The restaurant don't open every day (is sad for people that looking a place to rest) and the open hours are amazing (small lunch, dinner stating 4p.m. and closing 8.30p.m.) and some days the noise is amazing. A lot of parties near of the hotel with a strong sound and music playing after 2.a.m.

The staff is good but some people need a training to attend clients (mainly the kitchen people). On the room, the chair is a nightmare and the table is so small that you cannot put a laptop and a mouse (a netbook can be).

If you need a place to rest (really!), I can't recommend this hotel but if you go with friends to fun and just go to the beach, is a good choice.
