We stayed here for the second time on returning from hoiday in western France and heading for the ferry port at Ouistreham. The pain of the vacation being over was eased enormously by the quaility of this experience. Nice people, lovely food, classy accommdation and a calm and attractive environment.Faultless.

We had a great stay at arts in the garden, couldn't have wished for a better welcome. When we arrived Krishna was waiting for us at the door to welcome us in, she showed us to our room, we stayed in the red room which we can't fault at all. We also booked an evening meal for the first night and what can I say, WOW Krishna can really cook it was out of this world. We ended up booking another meal on our last night, which was Indian food and double WOW. Brain and Krishna were both wonderful hosts and couldn't help us enough, when we left to come home we felt like we were leaving friends. Our only regret about this B&B was that we didn't eat there for the 4nts we stayed.

The event started off with a comprehensive cookery lesson(food eaten in evening) .This was followed by facial/makeup from a professional beautician.We then dressed in genuine Indian dress---once more provided by Krishna.The evening was a great success and Brian and Krishna were the perfect hosts. We made new friends and would certainly do it again.

The website was appealing but the reality was even better! It is amazing how Krishna can make you feel you are her first guest ever, although she's been hosting tens of couple and families in the past year. And i am sure it was not fake : Krishna really enjoys meeting people in truth and with warmth.
Her unique background allows for the most interesting conversations, all the more enjoyable as they will take place around one of her delicious meals taken together with her and Brian, after a delightful stroll in the subtly and creatively designed garden.
Incidentally I am mentioning Brian a little less as he was very busy gardening the day we visited their B&B. But his presence was unescapable, being the author of most of the paintings on the walls.
The children (6 and 8 years old) are looking forward to going back (they enjoyed running in the garden alleys, playing Chinese draughts and eating Krishna's chidren's food) and so are we. Indeed, we will definitely go back to discover more of this rich area and enjoy a refined welcome in this little paradise of a B&B.
