we travelled round Sri Lanka and this was the best place we went to. we stayed only 1 night in Eerie and didn't want to leave the next morning. Sipping tea on a the balcony looking onto a view to die for once just breathtaking. The food was delicious; the service was excellent. The cottage was like going back to see your maiden aunt in the 50's (if you ever had one, that is!)can't recommend this place highly enough and the cost, we thought was quite, reasonable considering it included breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea. We also met the tea pluckers as they finished their day's work. Fascinating.

We took two of the three comfortable bungalows for our family. The views are indeed amazing but it was the way Ravi looked after us that really stole the show. Great food, great service and good value. Highly recommended. Go to the local tea factory while there,

If you are looking for a place to escape to, relax deeply, and be pampered in old-world style, look no further. The six hour drive from Colombo is well worth the effort: rewards include outstanding personalized service, wonderful food , beautifully comfortable cottages, and the best views on the Island. Give yourself at least 3 nights to avail of all that the place and Ravi, Stanley and the rest of the staff have to offer.

We stayed for 2 days at Wildflower Cottage as part of a tour of Sri Lanka. The views were stunning and the service and food superb.
Ravi the houseboy was excellent, organising a trip to the local [public]hospital for one of our group. Incidentally the care and treatment there was great.
We were superbly looked after and they even organised an impromptu Birthday celebration, as well as meeting the needs of a one year old.
