A really good hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed halfboard for a week with two kids aged 9 and 6. The room had a couple of sofa beds for them but there was still plenty of room and it was very clean. Breakfast was good, the usual hot stuff, cheese, cold meats, fruit and cereals. Dinner was slightly adventurous at times for the kiddies – whole mini octopus soup for example, but there were always four or five main course choices plus a good salad so we never had any problems.

Skiing in Cerler was excellent and really quiet – no lift queues and very often the entire piste to ourselves. There was a ski hire place (Gradodiez) in front of the hotel which also ran a free minibus to the lifts (only about 500m anyway) and we got a 10% discount for staying in the hotel. Again, the staff in there were really friendly and helpful and the equipment was very good quality as well. Lift passes are expensive – 194 euro for an adult for 6 days.

If you go in the winter get snow chains just in case, we needed them to get up to Cerler the night we arrived but the rest of the week the road was clear.

We will definitely go back!
