I got back yesterday from here. We went just for a relaxing break from the kids and work and this hotel is perfect for that if your just looking to sunbathe near the pool or beach and have some nice walks this hotel is perfect. We couldnt of got a better view from our balcony. U can see straight out to the sea and can see ibiza town in the distance and the boats. It is a nice quiet resort but it is a 40 min walk to the shops, though thete is some restraunts and a gift shop on hotel. All inclusive was fantastic. Cant believe they can do it for what you pay and they definitly dont hold back on the alchol! One of the bar men was a little bit grumpy sometimes but they do seem to work alot of hours. The only real downside was the pool was freezing! But it was hot so once you had got over the shock of getting in it was quite nice. Beach is amazing. You litteraly fall out of the pool onto the beach. Proberly not ideal hotel if your looking for a partying holiday as it isnt close to the town. But perfect for chilling. There was a few activities to do on the beach like canoeing. Food was nice and hotel was clean. I strongly recommend this hotel. Dont be put off by the moaners! I will definitly go again at some point :-)

Just returned from a 7 day AI holiday at the Hotel Real. Holidayed with my husband and elderly parents. Yes there was dirty carpets and some of the bar staff looked like they'd rather not be there, especially Jose (temp staff) who took it upon himself to wave a scissors in front of us 7 hours before we departed just so he could cut off our AI bracelets, very unprofesional and not a very nice man. On a plus side, the excellent dining room manager Francheso took matters in hand and showed us excellent customer service. A truely valued member of staff who coudnt do enough for us and made us feel welcome, an asset to the hotel. The receptionist Marcia welcomed us when we arrived at 10.30pm and made us feel right at home. On the whole the hotel is in an excellent position and idealic views. Yes there is seaweed but it is the sea after all. I snorkelled all day every day and the water was crystal clear. The beach is small but this is a bonus as it felt like our own secluded bay. The food was fine, we all ate well every day with a variety of different foods, fruit, salad and drinks. The entertainment was ok and the animation guy along with the quiz master was brilliant. There is a mixture of nationalities but this didnt stop us all conversing and everyone was lovely. The hotel is in a perfect spot and with a bit of tlc and the excellent Franchesco running things, this could be a gem. Will definately return next year. Excellent value for money. We rented a car and the hotel was centre to everything. All the major areas, Ibiza Town, Hippy market etc was only a stone throw away by car.

The staff were friendly to say this is the end of the season,with abseloutely
no complaints whatsoever, mainly agency bar staff like most hotels
but still happy in their jobs (or gave that impression)
The food was V good Veal joints pork joints for 3 nights,
Could always find something which We liked.
The pool and the hotel could do with a spruce up, as most areas
were looking a bit dated!
But on our last two days of our holidays there was
designers, builders looking at the hotel area
( this was confirmed by the resteraunt manager
who said " they are going to reform the hotel over
the winter months)
We stayed Ai which turned out to be good value
as expensive eateries round about.
Talamanca a little bit quite but to be expected for october
but hotel located on beach front, with a few
restaurants around, but only one shop
(which catered for most needs)
IF after reform they dont put prices up
would recommend this hotel.

I booked 6 nights at this hotel two months before my arrival but, for my surprise, when I arrived there, the reception told me they were moving me to another hotel since that one was full, no rooms available. I asked if I had option and they said: NO !
Wait ! I spent a lot of time to look for a hotel, book it and, when I arrive, the hotel I chose is not available ? I think it's a shame !
Even though they paid the taxi to drive us to the other hotel, still I paid for Play Real and not any other hotel.
