As some other had commented, this hotel location is pretty good for business travel especially your business activities are around the Odaiba(Tokyo Big Sight) , or around Shinagawa area. Typically what I do is to take the Narita Express from the airport to the Shinagawa station, and then walk outside to the taxi line for a quick taxi ride of about $9 USD to the hotel. Just say to the taxi driver "Hote-ru SunRou-to Shinagawa Seaside des". Yes it's my broken Japanese but does the trick every time, or just print out the hotel map from the website.
The room is small, and one may even say it's tiny but this is typical of room size in business hotels in Japan. It came with a LCD TV/monitor, free wifi, a double bed, and even a massage chair which is basically a chair with no legs but can vibrate a bit, pretty useless IMO. The modular, molded one piece bathroom came with a toilet that has "shower" functions. The real shower is pretty decent with enough hot water and pressure. Shampoo/conditioner/body soap are of good quality products. The double bed is decent and provided good sleep quality.
Check-in lobby area has 2 PCs for guests to use. The front desk can communicate in English and they used to give guests a Japanese energy drink upon check-in but no more. Corporate cutback I guess and it's too bad because I thought that was a really nice touch (and memorable feature) from the hotel to give the just arrived (and presumably exhausted) guests some drinks. The view out of the lobby (hotel starts in the 18th floor I think) is also pretty impressive, as one can see the Tokyo bay and harbor area, lots of Shinkansen trains coming in/out of train yard, and also planes coming into or out of Haneda airport. Also a good look at the monorail line to Haneda.
The restaurant provided breakfast with both western and Japanese style dishes. Tried the hotpot "shabu-shabu" dinner once and was pretty good quality also.
Overall, it's a good value business hotel in an expensive city like Tokyo.
