As others have said, the room was very small but I didn't really care much about that. When I travel I want to get out and enjoy the city, not spend time in a hotel. All I want is someplace clean, convenient, and reasonably priced, and this fit the bill perfectly. It's two stops away from Tokyo Station on a JR Rail line (note that the JR Rail system is NOT the same thing as the Tokyo Subway--this hotel is a 3-4 blocks walk to the nearest subway station--but the JR Rail system is extensive and has significant overlap with the subway system). Free WiFi was also nice. The breakfast was so-so.
The room seemed way overheated to me (as did most buildings in Japan) but opening the window easily corrected that problem. The neighborhood is VERY quiet, but seemed nice. It had a lot of clothing shops that appeared to cater mostly to locals, rather than tourists.
Be forewarned that if you're much over six feet tall you will have to crouch slightly in the shower. I'm 6'3" and could not stand fully upright--again, not a big deal to me.
The 7-11 next door has an ATM, which was convenient, but--like many ATMs I encountered in Japan--will only dispense a MINIMUM of 10,000 yen (~US$120) so you need to plan carefully to not get stuck at the end of your trip with excess cash. (There is an ATM in Tokyo station right next to the Starbucks that will let you pull out as little as 1,000 yen.)
