Hotel is very modern and clean; rooms are small, but probably average for Tokyo
Staff is helpful and most speak some english.
Free buffet breakfast with eggs, sausage, cereal, croissants, coffee, tea, and some traditional Japanese items like Miso soup.
The location is 2 train stops from Tokyo station. There are 3 different trains you can get by the hotel including one right under the hotel. The area is mostly for Japanese businessmen. There is nothing touristy in the immediate area. I walked 30 minutes to Asakusa, which is a very cool spot and an easy walk. The train goes right there as well. There are a few little places to eat in the area and some shops, but many close around 6pm. 7-11 is under the hotel and open all the time with many items including real food. For great deals on local food or general groceries, there is a grocery store 2 blocks away with great prices, fresh sushi, dumplings, and many other delicious items. They don't speak any english and most of the items have no english description.
If you want to be right in the center of all the touristy stuff and have a lot of night action, then this is not your hotel. But, I have enjoyed this unique spot. If you get a good price, its definitely worth a look.
No english tv channels, which would be nice.
