Me and my wife was visiting the hotel for 3 nights from 15-18.11.2011 The weather was great sunny 26 degree every day. The hotel show some places 4 star and other 5 star - none of that could be right it are a 2 max 3 star Hotel. The Hotel are situated in the middle of town and are exactly Tradition and History. it was rebuild back in the 50's and since that it hasn't change a lot
The settings outside - inside the yard are very Colonial and good looking. The restaurant gives a very good service and the food er splendid. The prices are reasonable. The service at the reception are also very good.
The room are oldfashion with cheap floors. The furniture are old, and the bed are very firm. We did not get a bath the firt morning because no water came out of the shower. They promise to fix it and the next morning we had a little pressure on the water but either it was very hot or very cold.
The town are very nice and looks very busy - good shops all around and they are open to long hours.

Hotel Mexico sits at the corner of Indepencia and Reforma a block from the town's zocalo. Even though you are in the middle of everything this charming older hotel is very quiet. There are several pretty courtyards and a swimming pool. Parking is up the block from the hotel and not too well-marked. But once you find it, the parking is free and very secure.

My room was clean with a high ceiling. Wireless internet and a courteous staff made my 2 night stay very pleasant. For less than $45 usd a night this place was a bargain.

Tehuacan is about 2 hours south east of Puebla. Off the beaten track but worth a visit. See the Cave of Coxcatlan about an hour southwest of the city. Sip your coffee at one of the cafes along the edge of the zocalo. Savor the delicious food at several good local eateries like La Greca.
