“Great value for money, would stay here again.”

Great value for money, spacious apartments. Perfect for families or groups. As a couple we were given a very spacious 2 bed apartment with tv, kitchen etc. However we did have to move to another apartment since our heating wasn't working (a must need in feb). So, we got moved to a smaller apartment but was alot more than we needed either way. Didnt get the chance to try the food in the restaurant so cannot comment on the food. When booking ask for a room on the top floor with a pool view :)

“Lovely appartments but no real soul to the place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 September 2011

Not sure how to review this place, lovely appartments but totally isolated. If you want privacy then a very good spot. A car is a must there is nowhere to get any provisions so make sure to bring provisions with you as there is nothing nearby. There are no tea towells so bring or get your own. We didn't try the resteraunts but both did not beckon us in and looked void of any atmosphere and anyhow they close after about 7.30pm. I can see the appeal for anyone on a golf holiday but ultimately the complex appeared to be not one thing or another and lacked a focal point or any atmosphere. I was not left with the feeling that I would return which was a shame really.

Room Tip: Ask for a 1st or 2nd floor overlooking the golf course or pool

“Great but could be better”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 September 2011

Stayed in mid September. Would highly recommend.
It's a bit out in the sticks but only 3 miles from either the airport or Alicantie itself.
A strange set-up for a Four star hotel its more like a time share complex. We joked that it was a bit like a cross between the set of The Prisoner and the set of Elderado.
The accommodation is excellent. We had a two bedroom apartment which seems to be the smallest available. You get a master with large en-suite and flat screen TV. Another decent sized bedroom. A bath room with shower. Large living dining / kitchen area leading on to a large balcony, ours was on the ground floor and in a corner so was especially generous. You even get a utility room with washer and dryer. There is Air con throughout.
Although the accommodation was excellent it wasn't always fully though through. Some examples of this are that although it can sleep four there are only chairs outside for two. The settee could only seat three at a push.
Sun beds seem to be much in discussion here. We are normally out and are not great ones for sun-bed life. When we were stayed there were always free sun beds in the morning or late afternoon. In July and August this would probably not be the case. If not having a sun-bed is going ruin your holiday I would avoid in peak season. The two pools are fine one is narrow and long and ideal for doing lengths the other more traditional, both have children's areas.
One of the whole points of the place is the golf, there is a well made path through the course to the clubhouse. You can hire clubs and if like myself haven't played in a good few years you can hire a couple of clubs and still use the driving range.
All the staff we met were excellent and friendly but as others have commentated if you want information you have to ask as there is absolutely nothing provided.
Most other reviewers commentated that they didn't eat in the restaurant so couldn't comment.
We did and it definitely is not what you would expect for a four star.
Firstly there only seemed to be two staff [ friendly] but then again there weren't that many customers. The set menu was 20 Euro and for this you got salad [ some lettuce from a salad bag , a few tomatoes, tinned sweet corn some grated carrot] a starter I had a mushroom and omelet combination. The main was swordfish which was a tad overdone this was served with tinned carrots and more sweetcorn. The desert was fine but if you looked in the kitchen bin I wouldn't have been surprised if you found a Sarah lee box.
All that aside if you don't want to drive in to town and cant be bothered cooking then there is nothing wrong with it at all. Just don't expect fine dining.
Overall we really enjoyed this place and would say that any negatives were far outweighed by the positives. With a little bit more attention to detail this could be outstanding.
As it was we thought it was still great value.

“Amazing apartments”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2011

I have just got back from a week holiday with my husband and 14 month old daughter, we had a great stay. Rooms were kept clean and towels were changed daily. Bed was sooo comfy and it was nice having air con in the room when the temperature outside was 30+C in September.

We went self catering thinking we could go to the supermarket when we arrived to discover it was closed due to it being a sunday.

The apartment itself was gorgeous and would stay there again - I would recommend you take washing up liquid, sponge, clothes, dishwasher tablets and washing powder - I took all with me after reading reviews (despite my husband telling me not to bother). The kitchen is well equiped with a utility room - washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, fridge, cooker, microwave and kettle. The apartment was finished to a high spec and we had a very comfortable stay.

I agree with the sun lounger issues - we went off peak and luckily as our daughter slept until 3pm everyday we didnt have much of a problem but i did go out in the morning once and had to lie on the floor.

Didnt eat at the restaurant as to be honest it didnt look appealing.

TV in the room only had BBC News and Movies4Men (which i wouldnt watch in the UK even if there was nothing on) so by the end of the holiday we didnt want to watch any news for a week. Tried to plug my portable MP4 player but it didnt have the same connections - if you are taking anything take a scart connector.

Would defo stay there again and would recommend to anyone.
