we only paid a visit to the hotel for a drink with a view to staying in the future.found the staff pleasent,lovely big pool and large clean dinning area.the toilets were also very clean.begining of march but the sun was out and very warm.seems like there is money being granted to the surrounding area promenade being built etc.we will be giving it a try but from we have seen ,we are sure to be pleased.

Having read 2 rather negative reviews on your site but needing to be in Adra we were expecting the worst and had a very pleasant surprise. The hotel has been revamped and is very smart. We were very comforatable and the service was excellent (though to be fair they weren't very busy out of season). Breakfast excellent too - we recommend

We stayed at the Mirador De'Adra in September 2005. We found the hotel to be basic and below advertised 4 star standard. Swimming pool small with lack of sunbeds. Surrounding area not much better. Best part derelict and full of flies. English Tourists not their main concern.

Booked there as looked very nice from pics and had 4 stars which i dont understand how as it did not seem in my opinion to be anywhere near that calibre.
Good points
1. very close driving to major places i.e almeria 30 mins away which isnt too bad
2. clean rooms, most with sea veiw
3. good weather slighlty warmer then its northen rivals.
Bad points
1. staff were completely unhelpful and even the manager seemed to show a dislike for the non spainish in my opinion.
2. food standards were low, very low i wont comment more then that incase this gets blocked.
3. pool very small and filthy
4. beach opposite is a building site in all but name.
5. rooms are basic not like pictures.
6. nothing i mean nadda to do around the area.

Overall only a place i would stay again if i had no other option and a car as you cant spend your time around the area and have to drive atleast 30 mins to hit civilisation and not expecting to eat there either which causes issues as the town hasnt got any options either so have to drive some distance for some munch! I would avoid this place unless prepared to just use it as a base to sleep and shower.
