Stayed here last year but cant remember the month. Pure filth & i mean seriously filthy. Probably thee worst hotel i ever stayed in. Stains on the matress. smell of urine in the room. dripping shower. Hairs and dirt all over the bathroom. I could go on and on. Just avoid it....UGH

Pity this hotel has changed management. Its the worst hotel I have been in. Unkept, noisy and the food is poor. What a shame.

Going back to Dunmore East for the third time this year because I think its a lovely place. However, the availability of good resonable food is certainly on the downturn. Ate in the Ocean last year, I had a veg curry and hubby and mushroom vol u vent. We felt they had a good selection of vegetarian meals. Our kids got the kids, 1 had pizza and 1 had pasta. It stated on the menu that kids meals could only be ordered in conjunction with adults???!!!. We assumed due to this rather largese statement that they were going to arrive with an incredible feast for the children. Imagine our surprise when a TINY frozen pizza and a small portion of pasta arrived. We saw other children looking in amazement at their spartan portions also. Our meals were ok, nothing special but the kids were disgraceful.

What a great place. The people are fantastic in this family owned Irish hotel, which gives it great vibes. Very nice to have the bar and restaurant on premises. Try the delicious seafood chowder. Not very fancy, but the warmth of the staff and the townfolks really makes it special.
