This hotel was more like a run-down youth hostel than a hotel. The room we were shown (before we walked out some minutes later) was overlooking a hideous flat roof-top; the smell was musty but covered over by some sickly disinfectant; the whole appearance was unsightly and plainly unclean. The bathroom was also sub-standard.
We had booked accommodation here months previously, so there was no excuse for this. We left immediately, and fortunately found an attractive B&B. Also fortunately, the village itself is a winner, and helped us forget this negative experience.
Room Tip: If anyone chooses to stay here, check the rooms first. Booking online, as we did, is too problematic...
