Went to Dunmore for weekend,Ocean hotel was awful,the room was up two sets of staires and it felt like we were shoved into the attic,the room smelled of mould and the bathroom floor was all mildew,the breakfast was ok but the old woman was very ignorant ,the whole experience was a smelly one it was like fawlty towers!!!!!! a dump

We went here for the july bank holiday weekend, the rates were fantastic, we wer treated so well, got a gorgeous room with views of the sea, the staff in the hotel were so nice and accommodating, we made some great friends there :) the food in the restaurant was amazing especially the crab claws and the sauce they came in was to die for mmmmmmm! we had dinner there two night out of the 3, it was gorgeous and very reasonably priced!
The hotel is in a great spot right beside the harbour and only 2mins walk to many pubs restaurants and the beach which is just lovely! I used to come to dunmore as a child and the ocean hotel always stuck in my mind so i was dying to stay there, was much more than i expected!
the bar has a great atmosphere its always buzzing there was entertainment for the 3 nights we stayed was a great laugh!
I will definately be back very very soon :D missing it already

Stayed here last year but cant remember the month. Pure filth & i mean seriously filthy. Probably thee worst hotel i ever stayed in. Stains on the matress. smell of urine in the room. dripping shower. Hairs and dirt all over the bathroom. I could go on and on. Just avoid it....UGH

Pity this hotel has changed management. Its the worst hotel I have been in. Unkept, noisy and the food is poor. What a shame.
