“Lovely Location & Service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 February 2011

We live in Kent, but wanted to treat ourselves to a night away, after our friends birthday party which was local to Merzie Meadows. We were given a lovely welcome and guided tour, as we had to arrange a taxi to nearby Linton our host was very helpful and when we struggled with the remote address the host were very helpful in directing the taxi driver, who was local but Kent is full of remote addresses so they can not cover all.

The room and bed was very comfortable, and in the morning we had a very good full english breakfast. The attention to detail was very good, the hens on site laid the eggs, and the other ingredientst as far as I can make out was all local or at least best quality. It was February, and the weather awaful but I think in the spring/summer for anyone visiting Kent this is a lovely base to enjoy our lovely county.

“A delightful tranquil retreat from the hurly burly of life”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 April 2010

Merzie Meadows is literally a hidden gem, set in a beautiful country setting away from the madding crowd. The accommodation is of a very high standard with every modern comfort and amenity, and the host family gave us a great welcome. There are some pleasant inns nearby offering good food, and a superb Michelin starred restaurant that gave us a fine dinner. We have travelled the world and enjoyed many fine boutique B&Bs, but this venue must surely rank among the best we have experienced.

“Beautiful, Charming, Quiet and Peaceful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 April 2010

We had only one night here unfortunately, but really loved the place and the very warm and friendly welcome from Pamela. She was also very helpful about things to do an see and suggestions on where to eat. We would love to come back again and maybe go for a swim!
The Terrace suite is very large and luxurious. The view out onto the garden and swimming pool was fabulous and the breakfast in the morning just right! Highly recommend it.

“Best B&B in Kent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2010

Wonderful country house a hidden gem, One of the best nights sleep I have ever had. I normally stay in dull hotel chains and decided this year to try something new. Well I have this B&B on top of my list, wonderfull welcome and facilities.

You will not be dissapointed
