Spent 3 nights at this wonderful guest house. From the moment we arrived We were made to feel very welcome by Dave Lori and Schula the adorable dog!.The guest house is furnished to a very high standard with a light and airy feel
The little extras of homemade biscuits, chocolates, cordials and complimentary wine in the room and the lovely L'Ocittane Verbena toiletries made it extra special.
We had dinner at the guest house on the first night which was very good and being able to provide your own wine was a bonus.
We also ate at the local pub The Bolton Arms (2 minutes walk away ) where we were made very welcome by Janet,Dave, and the 'locals'
Breakfast is cooked to order and a difficult choice as everything was lovely including the homemade bread and jam (but remember to leave a bit of sausage for the dog!!!!!!)
Redmire is a lovely old fashioned village -its ike going back in time (in a nice way)with no digital Television and poor mobile phone signal but we found this very refreshing.
The sight of the cows being herded down the street on Sunday afternoon to the miking shed was a sight us townies rarely see and a delight.
We had a lovely weekend and highly reccomend this guest house to chill out and as a base to explore the neighbouring countryside.
We would love to return
Room Tip: Stayed in Clinton superkingsize ensuite cheapest of the 3 rooms -if avaliable would stay in Avignon...
