Hunchy Hideaway takes you on a journey where both your body and spirit is cleansed and the world seems a much better place, this only sums up a fraction of what this place has to offer. Ali and Denis go to such great lengths to make your stay unforgetable with all the added touches of roses, chocolates music playing on arrival not to mention the breakfast and dinner hampers, home made scones and local yoghurt. The attention to detail is mindblowing the one and only fault we had was that we had to leave this magical ,romantic ,relaxing place. This hideaway will impact you in a way you never thought possible. We will definatly be returning to this slice of heaven.

For our 3-year wedding anniversary, all my husband and I wanted was complete relaxation, and Hunchy Hideaway provided it! The room was cosy and inviting with candles, a warm fireplace, comfortable furnishings and a fantastic spa bath. Our room, the Gum Nut room, didn't have an oven, but that didn't really impact our stay. The location of the room made us feel like we were the only people there, and the hosts Dennis and Ali were friendly and helpful without invading our privacy at all. One of the highlights of our stay was the walk/rock climb to the waterfall on the property - it was so beautiful!
Hunchy Hideaway was fairly close to shops and restaurants, but still felt like it was secluded from the rest of the world. I hope to go back again someday and would recommend it to anyone wanting a romantic getaway or quiet rest.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hunchy Hideaway. The setting is beautiful and the cottages are very comfortable. The spa was a definite highlight. All the little added touches such as the chocolates, the breakfast (including locally made yoghurt - delicious!) and the roses made our stay that much more special. The only problem was how quickly the time went. We will definitely be returning to Montville in the future, and we would love to stay at Hunchy Hideaway again.

Each and every winter, we travel to Montville to get away from the hustle and bustle for just a few nights. Each year we keep coming back to the beautiful idyllic Hunchy Hideaway. The little touches like chocolates, fresh flowers, fresh scones with jam and cream, warm fluffy bath robes and more are just the icing on the cake. The individual private cabins are cosy and romantic, and the spa bath is wonderful for the extra relaxation. At night, visits from the friendly furries (possums) are an extra delight (our last stay came complete with mummy possum with baby on her back)!

After trying other places in Montville, and after 4 incredibly enjoyable stays at Hunchy, I can recommend no other place. It is truly beautiful and perfect for that weekend escape (or longer if you have the luxury!).
