We had a lovely and romantic long weekend and found the Hunchy Hideaway to be the perfect place to relax from our busy daily lives.
Our cottage is nestled away and secluded by its own little private jungle with a lovely pond right its doorstep.
The cottage is spacious and the interior is elegant and spotless.
We had a great time chatting with the very approachable owners and can strongly recommend the Hunchy Hideaway to anyone wanting to relax and recharge their batteries.

What a wonderful gem Hunchy Hideaway is. From the fantastic Hosts, Denis & Ali, to the perfect hidden cottage with it's roses, decadent chocolates, and luxurious breakfast basket. We loved the privacy, the peace and yet only a few minutes away is Montville ,in the centre of Sunshine Hinterland, and in less then half an hour you are on the Sunshine Coast.

My husband and I stayed at Hunchy Hideaway for a weekend break from city life. We were greeted by Ali and Den, the cheerful and helpful hosts, who made our stay something really special, with roses in the cottage, chocolates, beautiful music playing when we arrived. The breakfast hamper was absolutely fantastic .... almost more food than we could eat (but we managed !!!). Absolute privacy at all times, and the peace sitting looking from the balcony into the rainforest was so relaxing. We walked down a bush track to a waterhole, where we sat on rocks dangling our feet in the cool water, listening to the birds and cicadas. It feels very isolated, but Montville is only a few minutes drive away, and all in all, I can't wait to go again.

We decided to get away somewhere quiet for our honeymoon where we were close enough to Montville to enjoy the village experience and shopping but far enough away to have privacy and seclusion. This is exactly what we found at Huncy Hideaway!

The romantic touches that Denis and Ali add are brilliant.... from champagne and chocolates to the rose petal heart at the entrance to the bedroom it was all perfect! The quality of the food supplied in the meal packs are number one and the real fire place in Fig Tree Cottage was awesome. Thank you so much for the perfect start to our married life.
