“Vento di Rose is a great B&B”

My girlfriend and I stayed at the at Vento di Rose for a week at the end of August. We choose this B&B following the amazing reviews we had read on Trip Advisor and we weren't disappointed.

This B&B is a calm and charming place, surrounded by picturesque farmlands and medieval hill villages. All around the house there's gardens with all kind of trees, plants and flowers. The household atmosphere is very relaxing and just perfect if you are looking for a place where you can stay a couple of days during your vacation in the Marches to take some rest, relax and enjoy the authenticity of the real Italian rural life.
Our room was very comfortable and decorated with good taste and a great attention to details. Since the B&B had only 3 guest rooms, the place is very quiet at night and in the morning. Be careful: is is very easy to oversleep!

Emanuella and Emedio are fantastic hosts that will do everything to make you feel at home. They are also very helpful and will provide you with a ton of useful information (restaurants, activities, etc.) that will save you a lot of time and energy. Emanuella is an accomplished cook and a breakfast expert; believe me, the breakfasts at the Vento di Rose are incredible.

Overall, the Vento di Rose is an amazing B&B that won't disappoint you. This is definitely a great place to stay during your trip in the marvelous region of the Marches.

Room Tip: There' only 3 guess rooms and they seems to be all great.

“An amazing place to stay for those seeking an authentic taste of Italy!”

My husband and I stayed at Vento di Rose for a week at the end of October following a recommendation from a family member who had stayed there and loved it. Wow were we glad that we did! We were shown to our room by Emidio, who with his wife Emanuela own Vento di Rose. The room was spacious and charming and had it's own entrance to outside, which we really liked for the privacy! Emidio asked if we'd like some wine (who could say no?!) and then brought us a bottle of locally made red wine and couple of wine glasses. We immediately felt right at home.

The next morning we were amazed by the breakfast- Emidio kept bringing out more and more plates of homemade and locally sourced treats, from fresh juices, cafe latte and pastries to dried sausages to thin crispy eggplant slices with cherry tomatoes on top! The breakfast changed every morning, but was always more than we could ever eat in one sitting. Fortunately, they had set up a picnic basket station with everything we needed to wrap up our leftovers, so we only had to pay for one meal (dinner) every day! When we told Emidio that we were really interested in local foods and farming, he directed us to (and sometimes even took us on) tours to see olive oil, wool, and vino cotto (a local cooked wine) being made- we could not have asked for more! He also made us reservations for dinner for us at a local restaurant without any signage that we never would have known was there, where we had one of the best meals of our lives! (Ask Emidio or Emanuela to make reservations at Sergio's restaurant- you will not regret it!!!) After our daily adventures, we were happy to settle back in to our room with it's comfortable bed, or sit and read at one of the many outdoor sitting areas around Vento di Rose with great views of medieval hill towns and rolling farm land... Ah...:)

After 4 nights in Tuscany (San Gimignano and Montepulciano), we were so thrilled to have this more authentic experience off the beaten path in Marche. My husband and I agreed that if we had it to do again, we would have spent even more time in Marche rather than Tuscany, but this was mainly because of Emidio and Emanuela and their incredible oasis at Vento di Rose. We would recommend it without reservation to anyone looking for an incredibly relaxing vacation while soaking in all of the culture and delicious food that Italy has to offer!

“There is no place better”

We can confirm every glowing review given to Vento di Rose and its wonderful owners, Emanuela and Emidio. We stayed here for five nights during the summer of 2006, and we became engaged sitting on the little bench out back overlooking the valley. I'm sure we love it because we became engaged there, but we became engaged there because there was so much to love about it. That morning over breakfast I'd looked at the gorgeous food and stunning surroundings and told my then-boyfriend I'd never been someplace more beautiful. He knew then it was the place to propose.

Le Marche is a well-kept secret (at least for Americans) and a wonderful place to explore the food and villages of rural Italy. Both my now-husband and I have traveled extensively in Italy, and we were still enchanted by the area. And the B&B is charming, friendly, beautifully presented, and comfortable. Emanuela's breakfasts are wonderful and allow you to sample the food of the region. And everything on the property is carefully chosen and maintained, down to the lace from Emidio's grandmother in the rooms. We loved everything about our stay here and agree that in all of our travels, together and apart, we've never stayed anyplace better. This is a truly magical place.

“Silenzio assoluto”

This one opens you an Italy far from the places where the tourists are aquainted to be.
If you are looking for calm, silence, natural smells, being alone - the place is for you.
We were a couple of russian tourists in April 2010 and we will never forget neither the place nor the hosts (Emanuela & Emidio) for one of the best vacations ever in our life. Hills, medieval castles around, incredible smells - Vento Di Rose means The Wind of Roses and there're really dozens of roses around the lovely house. In the household atmosphere one leaves all worries and troubles behind and feels at home. Every room of the three (with its own access from the garden) has its own name (our's was the Crepuscolo) what sets the pace of your staying.
We will definitely go back to the place of silenzio assoluto.

“A little bit of heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 October 2009

This is absolutely the nicest bed and breakfast I have ever been to in any country! Shangri-la! A small B&B, our room was squeaky clean, large, airy and comfortable. The decor was very tasteful up to the smallest detail..a sprig of lavendar and a seashell on each pillow and on the stack of bath linens set on your bed. The bath was large including a bidet and shower. A private entrance off the patio, no stairs to climb, and parking several yards away. The patio outside the door included two hammocks with a view of the mountains and a table with chairs for sipping a glass of wine before dinner. A kitchen with refrigerator and stove, table and chairs and brochures and maps of surrounding areas available for the guests. The potted gardens all around the house were in bloom and added to the beauty. But the feast for your eyes was around the corner, the view from the patio in the back where a sumptious breakfast was served. The whole world lay at your feet! The B&B sits on top of a mountain and you can see for miles around you, the vineyards, the fields, the villages on the mountaintops with just the church spire peeking through the mist. An amazing sight!! Now as to the breakfast, how does bread, rolls, butter, homemade jams, cakes, ham, cheeses, fruits (fresh figs, peaches, apples, olives, grapes), yogurt, juice, eggs, coffee AND paper plates, cups, saran wrap and foil so you can take your leftovers as a picnic snack, sound to you? And the price for all this wonder? 80Euro a night! I can hardly wait to go back. Three nights was not enough. Emidio is a wonderful host and cook and Emanuela teaches cooking classes. When you book B&B's online you never know what you're going to get, even with reviews such as this but this one was a gem! These were our last nights in Italy and I'm glad we saved the best for the last. When I made the reservation a month in advance, I asked if I had to make a deposit. The email I got in response said, "no, we trust our guests to show up, however we know that sometimes things happen so please let us know if for some reason you can not come as soon as you know." Now that's trust!!
