My husband and I stayed at this B&B for two nights last weekend during our trip to Amsterdam.
The room is comfortable with double bed, kettle and tea/coffee facilities, hanging wardrobe for your use, television and access to a very old laptop computer with internet access (if you can stand the slow speed!) at a small fee. The bathroom is next to the room and is shared (although we were not aware of anyone else using it)
The owner, Helen, is a friendly lady who made us quite welcome. We were provided with a key to the room and front door of the house. We had access to only our room and shared bathroom in the house, with the exception of morning breakfast which was served in the diningroom.
Breakfast was uninspiring buy typical for Europe - a selection of breads, jams, cheese and cold meat. Coffee was freshly brewed. My biggest beaf with breakfast was the tea - this lady is clearly not a tea drinker, bless her! Very weak! Augh! Lol
Location: a 5 min walk from the bus stop (safe quiet neighbourhood to walk through, even at night). The journey to Leidesplein took about 20 min max and the bus driver was most helpful. Busses had announced stops, so confusion is avoided.
Busses run till quite late in the evening and some routes have night busses too.
All in all, a decent enough place to stay.
