For the money, the place was very dated and dirty. Tatami mats were stained and the walls were indisrepair with small holes, doors falling off of the cabinets, the appliances in the rooms were very old and discolored. Food was OK but again, the private room dividers were scratched up with years and years of use with no maintenance. It must have been a nice place back in the 1970s, but seems like nothing has been done since then. No view of Mt Fuji as we were told, and no ocean view rooms. No Roten-buro bath, and only one had a view which was either too dark to see anything at night, or too fogged in the am to see out. After compaining and trying to cancel, we were upgraded to the penthouse, but again, very datad furniture and the bath was filthy. Spider webs across the room, further evidence of not being cleaned in quite some time. You're better off saving your money and staying at the business hotels near the train station!
