It is now winter in Sweden and I sitting here longing back to the wonderful week we spent at Sea Change B&B with Caroline and Werner. It was winter in Australia last July but not just the housing and the care was perfect but also the weather. The rooms were clean and very nice. The breakfast was a new little positive adventure every morning as Caroline continuesly suppriesed us with a new wonderful bakery of her on make every morning. Thanks for a some lovely days!

Sea Change is truly one of a kind. The location is unique; away from the busy hotel areas, but close enough to enjoy all that the region has to offer. Caroline and Werner were such great hosts and were so helpful. We looked forward to our amazing breakfast every morning and our conversations. We were so glad that we chose to stay here over hotels or other B&Bs that we researched. I'll not soon forget our evenings relaxing in the living room with the french doors open listening to the sound of the waves.

Would recommend this place to anyone.

We spent 3 nights at Caroline and Werners and really loved our stay - we didn't want to leave! We were guest at a wedding at Port Douglas and were so glad we chose to stay here and not in Port Douglas. We loved our morning walks on the quiet, private beach across the road (a local, very quiet road), saying hi to the few locals passing by walking their dogs. The breakfasts were a real treat with gorgeous fresh tropical fruits and lovely breads, muesli and fresh baked treats. And Caroline and Werner were just a delight - we felt completely relaxed and at home and they have a wealth of local knowledge and suggestions for restaurants and things to do and interesting stories to tell about the local area. They helped us with restaurant ideas and with booking our reef trip and they went the extra mile - even to lending us towels for the reef trip and giving us some sunscreen to use when I realised I'd left mine at home. The rooms were tastefully appointed and clean and the beds comfy. Highly recommended. Very relaxing.

Across the road from your own "private" beach, a different fruit for breakfast each day, and a whole house to ourselves (as no other guests were onsite)! Sounds a little like heaven. The accomodations were most comfortable while listening to the gentle roar of the ocean. The breakfasts were delicious and the hosts most gracious. So convenient to soooo many wonderful activities in the local area. Caroline and Werner, our hosts, helped make some of our reservations and pointed us in the direction of some excellent restaurants and local activities that you would not know about unless you lived in the area. Unfortunately the winds were high and we were not able to make as much use of our beach area as we would have enjoyed. However, we cannot forget what we did see while at Sea Change nor the wonderful people who welcomed us into their home.
