went here from a supposed to be planned-trip at tagaytay. I was with my girlfriend and decided to stay at Canyon Cove Resort just for the day and eventually go back to tagaytay the next day. there were two receptionists that time. one was a bit slobbish, she couldn't even render a smile. and there's this reception guy, he walks in and had us accommodated very well. knows how to deal with guests and has substance and very subtle. The pool was great, pool attendants were very attentive. one of the biggest ever seen. Food? it's better to go out and eat on fastfood restaurants nearby.
But this place was awesome. Had a great time.

I bought vouchers for an overnight stay in Canyon Cove Beach Club through a group buying site. I booked a month in advanced as recommended. It is indeed hard to connect to Canyon Cove's reservation hotline, but I have managed to get a reservation after several tries. They also confirmed through email although you should not expect an immediate reply.

Canyon Cove is almost 2 kms away from the town of Nasugbu, which makes it an hour and 20 mins away from Tagaytay City proper. Although secluded, it's pretty hard to miss along the road. The reception area is brimming with class and offers free wifi. I requested for two adjacent room and since it is available, they have accomodated my request.

The Deluxe rooms are very spacious, clean and homey. Every room has a veranda, glass window and sliding glass door. It has a 32 inch TV, water heater and the bathroom has a bathtub! Unlike any hotel rooms with limited pillows, the beds have plenty and are lined with comforters for very good night sleep.

The swimming pool area is huge and clean with many available benches for sunbathing. Although you can eat near the pools, the water and the sorrounding areas are clean, and needless to say, safe to leave your non-valuables around. There is also a videoke room (with an enormous TV, charged per hour), a game room and a playgound.

The beach sand is refined and off white. There are no strong waves the day we were there, which makes floating and swimming very relaxing. You just have to be careful because the sea bed is rocky at some areas. They have a banana boats, but since there are only 4 of us and it costs around P1600/45 mins, we didn't dare tried.

Breakfast buffet costs P300/head and it's worth it! If you are on a budget, you can go out and have breakfast or dinner at Nagusbu, where there are several fastfood chains.

Our Canyon Cove experience is by far the most pleasant beach experience for me. I will be waiting for more discounted vouchers!

We went here on invitation of my sister-in-law. We had 3 different rooms: 1 deluxe and 2 suites. The suite has 1 bedroom with a flat TV and a big bathroom with separate shower and a tub; a kitchen equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, electric kettle and another toilet; and 2 balconies overlooking the pool/beach area. There is a safety deposit box in each room but in our room it was out of order.Deluxe room has no kitchen/living/dining room but has a daybed/ref included.Hot water in the bath provided.
Downsides:It baffles me that there is a kitchen in the suite but you can not bring in food.We didn't have a chance to taste the food in the resort as we went out to eat. There are several restaurants in the town proper like Chowking,Jollibee,Mang Inasal, Dalampasigan(this is recommended: they serve seafoods and dont forget to visit their nature inspired chapel).etc.Poor cellular reception inside the rooms unless you are in the balconies.Don't loiter outside at night as there are a lot of mosquitoes.
We swam at the beach. The sand is creamy white but coarse as they are from fragments of dead corals. We enjoyed the very big pool. There are other facilities like children's playground, beach volleyball, kayaking, banana boat etc but we were not able to used them due to lack of time .
Over all, we enjoyed our stay but a little more improvement will be appreciated.

the time we arrived at the resort, we are not greeted and attended well from the security guards, reception desk and even the restaurant staff. it was only the resort manager the tsinito guy whose been very attentive to our needs and even followed up our food orders the time we are rushing due to the 12noon check out time. the resort manager even guided us where to get the best place to eat in tagaytay on our way back to manila. very professional and will surely visit the resort just because of him.

Room tip: get the new room wing, definitely the best view ever and look for the Resort Manager if you want to be attended well.... travel on weekdays as well...

The food was not right for our european taste. The hotel was very quiet with few guests and very little to do.
