I like this hotel, my kids definitely like it too. We definitely come back to this one again when we visit Salatiga.

1. The room is on the small side, but it is still comfortable to me with my 2 kids. The room we have is twin beds. It is really 'twin size' beds, not full like you expect elsewhere. Lots of decoration so I have to watch my kids.
2. Pools - there are 2 pools in the hotel. The one in the back has waterfall, and is definitely for kids. My kids love it there. The whole pool is below waist. The pool in the front is bigger.
3. Staffs - very friendly and courteous.
4 Dining room - enough size, with great selection for breakfast.
5 Location - quiet, somewhat out of the city. There are not that many decent hotels in Salatiga. This one has the best location.

Stayed a full week here with my family (including 6 months old baby). The hotel is truly great. Excellent amenities like a tennis court, fitness room, beautiful swimming pool and spa for great massages. Stayed in a spacious and luxurious bungalow with all the service one can expect from a 4-5 star hotel and a nice veranda. The staff are very helpful and provide fast and professional service. I would certainly recommend it!!

The hotel is located a few minutes from the centre of Salatiga, which is a middle-sized Javanese town with plenty of shops, a fresh market, restaurants and fabulous road-side sate. Ideal for anyone who wants to get a taste of day-to-day life in Indonesia. Furthermore, Salatiga is locaed ideally to explore the rest of central Java like Yogjakarta, Semarang, the volcanoes etc.

I recently stayed overnight at Laras Asri Hotel Salatiga. This is my third stay there. The main reason that makes this hotel favourable is it provides us various kind of facilities for families and also beautiful landscape. The room was quite modern and comfy. I guess this hotel was the best hotel that i've ever stayed in Salatiga.
