“Warm and cosy!”

Booked through Lapland Holidays, the room was great, big, really warm and with a handy drying cupboard. Had read bad reviews about the food but we loved it! Loads of choice, lovely warming stews and a great choice of new things to try. Staff were fine and friendly. Location is great, we saw the northern lights from the lake across the road!

“Great Hotel - Great Location - Fantastic Spa”

We booked this hotel because of the spa as we wanted to make sure that we had something to do indoors in case our little girl got too cold outside. As it happened the weather was very mild (-2 to -4) for this time of year and we were so busy with the sledging, reindeer safari and huskie rides that we didn't use all the facilities. We did however have two trips to the spa which was one of the best I have been to. It was not very busy as I can imagine that most people on holiday could not be bothered to get in and out of their outdoor clothes which are quite bulky. We however we had anticipated this (thanks to trip advisor) and booked a room in the Ounas building which has an indoor corridor to the spa building, this alone was worth the extra cost as it meant we could get to the spa in our bath robes without having to go outside. There are hot pools; cold plunge pools many jacuzzis, an aqua jogging pool and full size waterslide there is even a pool which goes outside and with a quick dash up the steps you can be in an outside hot tub, where you are surrounded by snow covered trees - beautiful. Overall the hotel was great, beware though the free sledges go very quickly and I’m pretty sure some people took them to their rooms, like the equivalent to reserving sunbeds on a summer holiday!! The drinks are very expensive but they are anywhere in this part of the world and we expected it so it was no surprise. The food in the main restaurant is plentiful and there is quite a good choice but the service was pretty much non-existent. That said the rest of the hotel made up for it and most people that used this restaurant had children so you just wanted to get in get fed and get out so you could make the most of what the hotel and resort had to offer. You could if you wanted a less chaotic dining experience use one of the smaller restaurants and you would receive a discount toward your meal in there. We will definitely book this hotel again 

“Winter wonderland!”

We stayed at this hotel for a week with inghams. The hotel is centrally located in Levi with just a short walk to zero point and the ski slopes. The slopes are beautiful, nice and wide and uncrowded. Be aware that most of the lifts in this resort are drag lifts and very long ones at that! Perfect resort for beginners and intermediate skiers, not so good for advanced.

The hotel itself is clean and welcoming. Free wi-fi is available all around the hotel. Our room came with a large drying cupboard which was good to hang clothes and boots in after a day on the slopes. The only criticism with the room is that you cannot control the temperature. We needed to sleep under 2 duvets to keep warm as it was -24outside! The maid service is also not great.

The food is not upto the standard of the hotel. We were half board and ended up eating outside the hotel. The food was cold, unappetising and repetitive. Vegeatarian options consisted of salad and bolied potatoes every night. We complained to the reps who were
brilliant and arranged for fresh pasta and juice for us. No juices are included as standard with the evening meal. Alcohol is very expensive-a large glass of wine set us back €11! Beers are €5.50

We went on the reindeer safari, husky safari and snowmobiles. These trips are AMAZING and we highly recommend them.

The hotel spa is lovely, however, the pools could have been warmer! Men be aware that you will not be allowed in unless you are wearing speedos/tight trunks.

We hired the thermal suits and boots recommended by inghams. However, if you have good quality ski wear, you will not need to hire the suits. The boots however, are highly recommended!

Lapland truly is a magical place and we have enjoyed every minute of our time here. We will definitely come back, but maybe stay at the K5 next time.

“Excellent in almost every way”

Just got back from our first ever ski holiday which we spent at the lovely Levitunturi Hotel. The hotel is in a great spot just 5 mins Walk from Zero Point and the front slopes, 2 minutes from the town centre area and about the same to the nearest supermarket. We upgraded our room to a junior suite in the Ounas building which although was quite a pricey upgrade was well worth it as the room was one of the nicest I've ever stayed in. The Ounas building is connected to the new spa water world by and underground corridor so you can walk over there is the gown and slippers provided in the room without going out into the cold and walk back and shower/change in the privacy of your own room instead of the communal changing area of the spa. The food in the hotel was fairly good with only a couple of evening meals being a bit hit & miss but this was probably not helped by us arriving late for our meal. The food was plentiful and always hot and the salad bar was superb with lots of the usual salad items and cold fish. Levi itself is the most wonderful place imaginable, very picturesque and peaceful and ideal for first time skiers like us. It was very quiet whilst we were there and not much in the way of après ski however the Irish bar in town (Oliver's Corner) was a nice place to enjoy a few beers in the evening and share stories with our fellow skiing beginners. Anyone considering Levi as a holiday destination whether it be for skiing or to just do the husky, reindeer and snowmobiling excursions should go and book right away, you will not regret it
As a footnote the only negative thing I can say about the hotel was the slightly dodgy customer service in the restaurant where most of the staff were very ignorant and not particularly accommodating this however was a very small issue and did not detract from what was otherwise one of our best holidays ever.
