“A Gem of a Find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

A great find, brilliant location, room and en suite furnished to very high spec, fluffy towels and cotton bedding. Great feature having your own front door! Good continental breakfast served in your room on lovely white crockery, we liked this. Pauline is a great hostess, nothing too much trouble for her. The village is a great location, pubs, river walk, beach, castle, it really has it all! Wouldnt hesitate in returning for a w/e trip or recommending this B&B.

“Great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 September 2011

We used the B&B as a base for a late summer break. Excellent accomodation, spacious, clean & tidy and a very friendly landlady. Beautiful countryside and lots of places to visit just a short drive away. For beer lovers, there's a micro brewery at Newton on Sea (at the 2nd pub you come to, right by the beach) about 10 miles north of Warkworth which sells the best beer we've ever had anywhere. Not to be missed, hope to return soon!

“Superb B&B with Excellent Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 May 2011

We were very pleased to have found this B&B. The room was a great size as was the ensuite shower room, it is furnished to a high standard and has a very welcoming feel. The fact that the room is independent to the rest of the house makes it very easy to come and go as you please.
Pauline is a very lovely lady and was very helpful before and during our stay. The continental breakfast was perfect, the pastries were amazing and set us up for the day ahead.
Great location in a beautiful town, highly recommended.

“1st Class Accommodation, Very Helpful and Friendly Owners”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 August 2010

Top quality room; extremely well furnished, very clean and well decorated. Great Continental Breakfast; cooked breakfast was extra but very well worth it. £3 for a sausage or bacon butty. Breakfast served in your room which was really nice. Warkworth is a lovely location, the castle is well worth a visit and several places to eat and drink. Excellent beach within walking distance and lovely riverside walks; boat hire available. Pauline is so friendly and helpful I can't recommend this B & B enough

“Well presented one room B&B, excellent value for money in pretty small town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 August 2010

Had a very nice one night stay while driving from London to Edinburgh for the weekend. Warkworth is about 10 minutes off the main A1 road.

This B&B has one large ground floor room with it's own entrance door in from the high street.

Newly created, it has been furnished to a high standard, with a compact ensuite shower room attached. Breakfast is taken in the room, the owner wheels it in on a trolley (there is an hidden door in the entrance lobby to the room. A fridge is provided.

Offstreet parking (in a carport) is available, accessed through an arch from the street (tight turn, needs to be taken from the right). Owners of larger vehicles should phone in advance to check if they can park, otherwise there is parking nearby (pay & display, I think).

Would definitely recommend it.
