This has to be the best B&B you could ever visit. This was our 2nd visit to Fairfield and Mandy continues to be an excellent host serving a first class breakfast. We were greeted with a glass of wine and nibbles on our arrival and on return from walking; Mandy had made fresh sweet mince pies and mulled wine for us! It doesn’t get any better than this.

We stayed here on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Warkworth and we were not disappointed!

Although we stayed for just one night, we will definitely be back. We were made very welcome on our arrival on the Saturday evening and our little girl was also made to feel special - not always he case when checking in! We stayed in a beautiful room overlooking the courtyard, which had been decorated very stylishly. We went out for the evening and came back to a lovely warm room where we had a wonderful nights rest.
Breakfast was quite simply superb. We pre-ordered and I have to say it's one of the nicest I have sampled in the many hundreds of hotels we have stayed in. My little girl had the croissant and scrambled eggs - and wanted more. I had English muffin and eggs and bacon - divinely cooked. Also freshly made granola yoghurt and fruit - I was full for the day!
Everyone we spoke to at breakfast said they had a wonderful stay.
Warkworth is beautiful winter or summer, and we have stayed in other establishments in the village before - this is No1!

This is our second time at Fairfield Guesthouse, and although we have visited many hotels and bed and breakfast throughout the UK this is the only one we have revisited because it is so outstanding.
We stayed in the immaculate and beautiful Sanderson room that is light and spacious with good views over the stunning garden for 5 nights from 22nd October.
On our arrival we were welcomed like old friends and given a glass of red wine. On one of the evenings we returned from a lovely walk from Craster to Low Newton and we were invited to join other guests and Mandy on the terrace for wine and nibbles. Mandy makes you feel at home in her home.
I set myself a challenge and attempted to find a favourite breakfast from the varied breakfast menu. Alas by the end of our visit and 5 different breakfasts eaten I was undecided as all the meals served were so delicious.
We would highly recommend Fairfield guesthouse, Mandy is an exceptionally warm and genuine hostess

Stayed here for 1 night en-route to Scotland. Fairfield House is a treasure and we will be back to explore this part of the country. Mandy is a superb host and there is most definitely attention to detail here, as the rooms and public areas are impeccably clean and nicely furnished. We were offered a glass of wine on our arrival which was a nice touch and very enjoyable. Breakfast was equally pleasing and freshly cooked to order with a very extensive menu. This can be compared with 5 star resorts and it could be argued is better than some we have stayed at.
