Destination Expert   What's this?
for Ibiza, Santa Eulalia del Rio

Have a look at the Sirenis Seaview just outside the bay in Port De Torrent. New waterpark planned for this season so that will keep the kids busy. Very family orientated Hotel, next to a good beach and transport links.

Most of the bay is Family themed. There are a few clubbers there but they dont hang around the bay they all migrate into San An town and the Clubs after 10pm.

Would also suggest you look at santa eulalia, very much a family only resort, but the 18 year olds will give me nil points. Consider possibly better beach at santa eulalia, expecially the man made one, which has been kept in prestine condition.

I love the ability to have a drink right on the beach, admit not walked all round the bay in recent years, but this ability lacking in San An as walkways block the way.

san an bay is perfect for kids and it's generally the mums & dads that are rowdy rather than young clubbers ;-)

Hello friend me and the wife (she was a bit sceptical) travelled to San Antonio bay last year for the wife,s 50TH we stayed at the Bellamar hotel (half board) in June it was fantastic I wanted to do something a bit different being the wife,s 50TH the bay was perfect ,walked out of the hotel across the road straight onto the beach ,brilliant also after dinner if you come out of your hotel turn left up the road you have a few bars and pubs which open till around midnight then further around the corner are more bars which stay open later ie the pink panther etc all in all it was a fantastic experience what with the excellent hotel and the fantastic sunsets (not to be missed) I would fully recommend the bay as it is less hectic than San Antonio itself although if you fancy a good old party night the option is there as your only 20mins walking (at most) away ,, I would also try the hippy market (Wednesday,s) great day out see reception for details ,or your rep also try Ibiza town itself by day or night both fantastic experiences hope this helps .....j

Hi Sharon, we went to the Bay about 4 years ago there was 3 couples all in our 40,s. we had a great time. it was the beginging of the season so the big clubs werent open. there was a alot of familys there and all the bars are child family. you can jump on a water taxi across the bay or walk its lovely with a wide footpath all the way round. iv just booked for a week in May this year. hope you have a great time

I think large parts of san An Bay area i.e the area across the bay from the town, are particularly squalid and i wouldnt want a family with children to waste their hard earned money by ending up there. There are better spots in the San An main area.
