plenty of choice of local bars and restaurants as MM says.

san antonio is much nicer at that time of year.

Rita's in the marina is my favourite winter spot in san an.....

mm's current fave is the nautical club chiriguito. gas heaters, good wine, cheap beer and a bbq big enough to power the titanic. the mixed grills are sublime.

Hello mouseymouse, and also beeZwaxIbiza.......thank you both so much for this information. I have been to Rita's, which was very atmospheric and pleasant, but I have not tried the Nautical Club.!!!yet!!!!!.............I also love ITACA, and have been to it on many occasions...primarily in the daytime. I think that will also be open........................oh, I am counting the days now!!!!!!!!!!!

i doubt if itaca will be open. it opened all winter last year but is closed at the moment and i can't see them opening so early in the season. all the bars/cafes by the port at san an are currently open (apart from island cafe) including villa mercedes (day times only for special menus)

Hello again mouseymouse...........thank you for your reply. I hope to be back later in the season, possibly late May if the flights are not too expensive, and if so we will go to ITACA then !!!!!!!!!.......I must try and work out the bus times also, because I realise that the timetables change.
