We are arriving to Port Angeles via the Coho ferry and want to drive down to either Aberdeen and start our journey southward to the Oregon coast this way or I was wondering if it would be better just to stay on the 101 to Olympia and then join the I-5 to Longview/Kelso area and then go over to Astoria and south from there?
Or is there another route that would be better that anyone can suggest? We decided to spend most of our time on the Oregon Coast rather than the Olympic Peninsula this trip.
We are driving a motorhome, so will be taking our time, but at the same time - don't want to miss out on any great sites, any help/suggestions would be most appreciated - sometimes other people's experiences are way better than a map or google...:)
