well i changed motels -- from the super 8 with a "breakfast" and close to the ferry to a motel in sequim- the sequim west for the same money- no "breakfast" and 17 miles from the ferry based on the TA reviews of each place

I've stayed in the Super 8 in PA and while it was not luxurious I wouldn't trade it for a 17 mile drive to Sequim. Ask for a room on an upper floor.

we are driving up from oregon and we get to sequim before port angeles- we are taking the ferry to bc -- so one way or another i have to drive that 17 miles - either on sunday if we stay at the super 8 or on monday when we go to the ferry
just changed back to the super 8--- we can sleep a bit longer because we dont have to drive the 18 miles from sequim to the ferry and we can grab a bit of breakfast at the motel --- at least a hot cup of coffee and a muffin
They had a commercial waffle maker in their breakfast room when we were there. Our teens made many, many waffles! I think it is a good call on your part.
