“ bears den at cobbly nob ”

We have just booked a week at bears den in September.

Has anyone stayed there and if so any comments/thoughts please

I have stayed in CN frequently, but have never "seen" the Bears Den. I would have remembered the bears on the cabin, so I would think it is up a private drive or nestled among the trees and not easily seen from the road. We love being in an area with Security Guards, 3 pools, lots of trees, tennis court and of course, the golf course. It is 10 miles from G'burg, but you will pass the Arts & Craft area, the Trolley Depot next to the Post Office and Food City, and the Greenbriar area ofthe Park. You are doing business with a well known company, but there are a couple of negative reviews on the Yahoo Travel site. The cabin may have been under another company at the time. You will have a wonderful time!

I've stayed in Bears Den about 3 or 4 years ago. The cabin is ok. I have stayed in others that I liked better however. From the lower level where you park, you come straight in to the bedroom area. You climb a lot of stairs to get to the living area. Kitchen and Living room. Not too big of a deal unless you bring a lot of groceries and have bad knees like me. Let me know if I can answer anything specific.
