Any suggestions? My boyfriend and I are in our early 30's and looking for something modern and trendy if possible but cheap, clean and with free parking. We will be in town March 22-26

Is your goal to be able to visit New York City? Do you want this location to be accessible to New York City by public transit?
Yes we are planning on spending most of our time in NYC we are just driving in and need to stay cheap so the closer to the subway the better,
Thanks :)
The Pan American in Queens is within your budget on Kayak but I don't know about parking as your driving maybe a hotel in Brooklyn - BB may be able to advise you better with that
Yes, the Pan American has a garage. It says "Free Car or Van parking on site", but not sure how many nights.
You can get free parking for 7 days at a $199 room rate, or pay for parking at a lower room rate:

Park, Sleep and Fly Special - $199
The Hotel now offers FREE long term parking for guests booked at this rate ($199) and staying at least one night. Parking is free of charge for 7 days and $10.00 per day thereafter.
The words "free parking" and "close to the subway" tend to not go together in NYC. If you want to be within walking distance of the subway, you may have to settle for parking in a commercial garage, which tend to be cheaper than many hotels charge for parking.
Use bestparking.com to find rates.
FYI, Queens is part of NYC, so the Pan American is within city limits. It's a no frills place popular with airline staff. It's a short walk to the subway, and to a decent shopping mall. You can be in midtown in 20-30 minutes by subway.
I'm looking at the Ramada Queens right now - any thoughts?
What's the address? I think there's more than one Ramada in Queens.
164-40 Hillside AvenueQueens, NY 11432
Eh, I wouldn't. That's too far away from Manhattan for a tourist commute.
Also, the area is kinda bleh - nail salons, 99c stores, fast food, bad Chinese take out, etc. Lots of school kids, hosptial and library workers, government offices and commuters during the day, but after hours, not much going on.
(P.S. the area around the Pan American is not the prettiest either, but at least it is significantly closer to Manhattan.)
