Hi, I just wanted to see what my transportation options would be to get from our prospected hotel, Hilton Manhattan East on 42nd St, to Citi Field? And approx cost?

Go like the vast majority of people going from Manhattan to Citi Field do. Take the # 7 train at Times Square. The cost is $2.25 per person each way ( unless you have an unlimited metro card, in which case it is included)
Thank you. How much is that card? We will only be in town for the weekend so I would like to see if it is more cost effective.
Also, do you know about how long I should allow for the Liberty/Ellis Island tour, and also the 9/11 Memorial?

Your hotel is at 42nd Street and 2nd Avenue. There's no reason to go to Times Square to get the 7 train. Just get it at Grand Central. You don't actually have to go all the way to Grand Central to get on. There's an entrance closer to Third Avenue on 42nd Street that you can use.
