I'd agree with Sparhawk. I always take a cardigan or a pashmina.

Hi, we have just returned, shorts and tee shirt during the day. Long trousers and a light jumper at night. My wife had a cardigan or shawl at night, but still warm enough to eat outside. Tenerife is as far south again as Portgual is from the UK, so should be a lot warmer. As we left all the spring and summer flowers were in full bloom.

I was there March 2011 & had long trousers, jeans & long sleeved shirts or polo with cardigan at night. 25c during day 16-18c night time, enjoy.

We go every march, and have always had lovely weather, light cardigan is fine as that 19c at night can be a bit nippy.....lol
