Playa de las Americas Forum: Is there any car parking at Compostela Beach Apartments

As Aguilas says re the second Compestello in square E7 lots of free on street parking both to the side and along the main road ,quiet and safe .......

Aguilas is correct in saying there is a parking area opposite the Med palace in d8 but we have often seen cars towed away, with the police present. Not sure for the reasons but it happens day or night. To be certain of a dedicated space perhaps giving the appartments a ring first might be an idea.

Bowler I didn´t mean street parking I meant here under the apartments http://g.co/maps/3sbjk I can´t see the parking sign very well for the trees but it probably says you can only park at certain times as it is needed for loading and if you do you take the risk of being towed. I know it has happened to me (but only the once!!) it is expensive you don´t only pay for the parking violation but also for the grua that towed you - €160

Sorry Aguilas, i don`t know about under the Royal gardens. The ramp at the side of Compostela beach Apts. in the picture leads to a service area for what was the Malibu bar and resturant , just a tunnel under the row of apartments. That was an expensive parking ticket.

Bowler, I stand corrected I thought that was leading to an underground car park under the apartments.

Yes getting towed is expensive that is why it has only happened to me once, still it could have been worse I was parked outside of the Vulcano at the time and only had to go to the pound which is round the corner - I check very carefully now as to what is allowed :-)

If your hiring a car locally you might want to consider using Niza Cars (sure thats them was only there in December but can't be 100% certain thats them !).

They have an office on the outside of Safari centre just up form the steps down into shops as if your walking toward the strip (see map D8) its on the roundabout outside Med Palace & Comp. Beach its where you have to cross the road between section of the shops as you cross at the crossing its on the right the last door.

They give free parking in the secure underground car park underneath the Safari Centre with every car hire.

Its certainly worth considering as park on the street in and around the Compostela Beach & Tenerife Royal Gardens is quite a lottery in that spaces are rare at the best of times.

Just checked its Autos 3 000 not Niza (which is down the step inside the shopping centre).
