there was a notice on here a few weeks ago saying they had moved to Adeje area, not sure where though.
It's at cc Litoral on the beach front. It's doing food now too.
Haven't been yet but look forward to it.
Just back from two weeks in Tenerife . Divine bar now reopened by Joe Harriett and wife Tina . Went to opening night which went well with Joe , Elaine Alexander and Tribute to Supremes providing the entertainment . Emphasis seems to have changed to provide "all day" facility with day time meals and snacks . Joe is looking to expand entertainment but , in reality , as long as he himself is performing there is no better .
Whilst new site is in a brilliant day time spot on sea front the whole area is somewhat devoid of people in evening although it was mid March and I only hope that Joe & Tina can make a success ot this latest venture .
Please note that Joe does not perform on Friday or Sunday .
Hi can you please give me more detail in which the place is we went to Divine soul last time we were in Tenerife 2yrs ago,and are going back next month and would love to go again many thanks
Divine Soul was originally in premises beneath the Sol Tenerife hotel close to Veronicas . In February 2011 Joe Harriett left these premises and has moved to new ones that are located on Fanabe beach . Fanabe beach businesses comprise four blocks of restaurants , shops and bars of which some offer evening entertainment .
Divine is situated within the fourth block , furthest walk from Puerto Colon . Not knowing where you are staying it is difficult to estimate how long a walk you would be faced with but my wife and I were staying near Jardin Tropical hotel which was around a 20 minute walk .
You could always take a taxi to the main Fanabe shops (near the Bowling Alley) and walk down steps to the Beach .
We went to divine at the begining of the month and didnt really enjoy the experience. the drinks were over priced and the seats very uncomfortable. Although Joe and Marlow were good singers and were quite pleasent to listen to, the female singer that came on absolutely murdered every song she attempted to sing (give up and find a new career) and the other singer mr Canada came on and sang the same songs as Joe! Then the music went up really loud and we found ourselves having to shout to be heard so we left and wont be going back!!
Thanks for info we never found Divine soul, but did see a motown singer (mr D) in a bar nr to h10 gran tinerfe were we were staying he was very good,he sang none stop for 1hour&half.
Just spent the evening at Devine in Fanabe, it was great and Mr D was among the featured singers tonight. We had walked all the way to the Veronicas from Costa Adeje to try and find where they were before and now it is just around the corner! If you like to see soul sung live, then you need to get down there, no acts of this class in our five star hotel!
is this venue wheelchair accessible as when it was near the Tenerife Sol it wasn't. Also how far is it from The Patch please
