Oak Ridge forum We'll be headed to Knoxville next month and I was wondering if people thought a visit to Oak Ridge museum would be worthwhile and how much time to allow. We were at Los Alamos, NM this spring and really enjoyed the exhibit at the Bradbury.
That's a great question. I've always wanted to visit Oak Ridge on my trips to the GSMNP. I do know that the tours were closed for a while after 911 for security reasons. Hopefully someone from that area can give you an answer.

Here's a phone number of the Oak Ridge Visitors Bureau. 1-800-887-3429. Give them a call. Plus, they will probably be glad to send you some brochures and stuff about Oak Ridge and its attractions.
