Try the Royal Yacht. Good food and a mix of ages, but generally lively. They are advertising their NYE events at the moment. I like the Salty Dog, which is in St Aubins (get ready for a cold walk along the front for an hour - could be romantic? - or take a taxi - will be expensive) not sure what they're doing NYE if anything. You could consider Bohemia (again, haven't seen them advertising) but this will cost A LOT. £75 at The Inn sounds expensive, but then it is NYE I suppose. Hope you enjoy Jersey.

Royal Yacht also has a New Years Eve menu for Cafe Zephry downstairs. I think it includes free entrance to The Drift afterwards.

thanks for the help but i think we will give up so far i have called 10 restaurants

4 closed ,4 closed before midnight (strange) and 2 fully booked .

all i wanted was a family restaurant to walk into 9pm leave around 1-2am

good meal friendly atmosphere anywhere in jersey £50-£100 with drink.

i suppose its a curry and a walk on the front

i would thank roger at pedros for his polite reply

Try the Funchal paradise in Colomberie,

Family run excellent food

About £6 out in taxi & £10 return avoid royal yacht full of pretentious bankers & underage girls!

The Best Western Royal Hotel might fit the bill. It's a Gala buffet rather than a served meal, but disco and dancing until late. £49.50 per head including pre-dinner bubbly.

We had a lovely meal at Cheffins in St Aubins on New Years Eve a few years ago, but that might be booked up by now?

NYE can get so expensive. Many of our friends are resorting to house parties in these recessionary times! That's where we'll be....

Try the Bistro Rosa inside the fishmarket always hear good things about this place you cant get fresher seafood !.

If you dont mind driving try the Moorings or Feast on Gorey pier another two with good feedback from my customers (I'm a taxi driver).
