Queen Elizabeth National Park Forum: "Big Game Safari possible in Uganda rather than Kenya??

WITHIN UGANDA:

Queen Elizabeth will guarantee you sightings of elephants and buffalo. The rest is a bit hit or miss. I am personally not a big fan of Queen Elizabeth....Murchison Falls has all four (leopards, lions, elephants, buffalo) and, on your way there, stop in the rhino sanctuary so you will see rhino up close and personal as well (they take you in the sanctuary - dont miss!).

KENYA VERSUS UGANDA:

No comparision. Kenya has more wildlife in the parks, and much more dramatic (the "plains"). That being said though, Kenya is way more expensive and touristy (e.g. comparing a safari in Masai versus Murchison). Also, Murchison has the nile with the huge crocs, the millions of hippos and the large varans, which is quite unique.
