I have a comment -- I found it interesting to read but difficult to form an opinion on since it is (by definition) one person's opinion.

I agree with billt. There will always be compromises.

And many countries have not preserved their natural resources so are in a poor position when it comes to persuading other countries not to do the same...

There are only a handful of countries that would buy uranium, so if they agreed not to buy this stuff, the Tanzanians won't need to mine it!

We could just keep buying Australia's uranium (mined in a World Heritage site in Kakadu national park).
