Can anyone direct me to a store that sells the UGG boots in Watertown?
Any idea how much they are selling for in the US?
Thanks!

Hi! I would recommend getting them off the internet from Australia - as far as I know this is the cheapest way.. I got mine (the tall UGG's) for £120 delivered to the UK (I love them! Don't give up on finding a deal on them!)
Thanks for the advice. My daughter (the one who wants the boots!) had sent me the link to the web site in Australia.
The only problem is, we have to pay a large duty (18%) on the boots if shipped from Australia. This plus the shipping makes the price difference quite small--only about $20. I'm not sure it is worth it at that point!
I will keep searching for a deal though!
Have you checked on ebay? I normally wear a size 9 (large foot, I know!) And I have to pair of ugg boots size 8.
I bought my first pair at Westies shoe store in Oklahoma City, and the other pair I got on ebay.
Hope this helps
WOW! I just now noticed the date this original message was posted, then I looked at how old some of the other most recent messages were posted. This is one slow board! Hope Watertown is more exciting than this ;)
GC me too your comment about watertown being more exciting then this.. I will be visiting there in the next few weeks not only to visit, I am relocating there.
I have never been there before..so it should prove interesting.
I read you are visitng your son at Ft. Drum.. have a safe trip and let's hope the weather up there is a bit drier.. not that I mind the rain.. just would like to see it and enjoy it.

We were there over Memorial weekend. It is really pretty country. I was pleasantly surprised! The mall isn't too bad, though I am used to much bigger malls, but it's do-able.
About 30 miles north at Alexandria Bay, you will find some really fun things to do when you want to get out of watertown. They have a really fun go-cart track that's more than one mile in length and cost was really reasonable! $5/lap or $20/5 laps. The go carts are pretty fast too! My son had a blast! Definitely do the boat tours on Thousand Island. Uncle Sams as well as other boat tours available. I found U.Sams to be the best in value. We toured Singer Castle and Boldt Castle. Very beautiful place to visit. I also enjoyed the downtown part of Alexandria Bay.....very pretty.
They have "Pirate Days" sometime in July where everyone dresses up as pirates and it looks like a lot of fun. Not sure what your age is or if you have any children, but it looked like people of all ages would have a blast.
There's also a Winery that offers free Wine tasting at A.Bay. We didn't have time to do that, but will do that next visit.
When will you be moving there? Our son is stationed there for the next few years.
I got the impression you had not been there. I am glad I was wrong.
I have done some research and must say 1000 Island really grabbed my attention.. it looked so beautiful.
Glad to know there are a few places close by to get away and enjoy. I know my army friend will love the go carts. We were in Syracuse two months ago and went to the mall.. he found the arcade and just had a blast.. it was fun watching him.
Thannks for the info.
I will be moving by the end of July or early part of Aug. I want to get there before the first snow fall.
But, I will be visiting soon to find a place to live, then look for a job when I get semi-settled.
I hope things work out for you and your son.
Thanks again

Actually when I first posted on this thread I had not been there yet.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express.....nice hotel and staff by the way. Lots of luck to you on the move and finding a job. I will warn you that one part of Watertown (I believe it's the downtown or the town square) There is road construction through that area and it's ALL JACKED UP! If I hadn't had my son with me to navigate me through it, I'm sure I would have wrecked our car.....
I am hoping to go visit him again sometime next year. I'm looking forward to going back to Alexandria Bay/1000 Islands.
Hope you enjoy the area.....just get ready for some cold winters, you'll probably need to get some Uggs if you don't own any :p
I am laughing not having a clue what Ugg boots are and you saying I will need them...
I was born and raised in CO, I remember cold and snow and missed it a lot.. I have not been in that type of enviroment for 20yrs but I adapt really when I have too.
Thanks for the heads up with the road construction. I know how that is.. we have tons around here and it makes no sense with hurricane season.. they should just a road at a time.. but no..
Anyway, I am looking forward to it. Thanks again
