Get your quick guide to the top hotels, restaurants and things to do.
My husband & I are going to the Rochester area with another couple for a weekend. The men are golfing & we ladies would like to shop. We would like a nice hotel with good shopping nearby & preferably dining choices within reasonable walking distance. Any suggestions?
i'd suggest the spa at the del monte in pittsford... marriott.com/hotels/…
across the street from schoen place, check out aladdin's
or the woodcliff hotel & spa, but nothing really walking distance.

If you are going to have a car. The Waterloo Premium Outlets are less than 1 hour from Rochester! Great Shopping, easy to get to!

Great Shopping, one of my daughter's favorites (20 year old) when she comes for a visit! Higher end stores (Lord and Taylor, Ann Taylor, Eddie Bauer, Cold Creek, etc), with lots of nearby strip malls that have other stores you might want to visit. LLBean is not in the mall but is connected to the parking lot.....and just so you know, I checked on google maps, and Waterloo Outlets are 29 miles past Eastview on Route 90....we went last weekend when we had "Girls Weekend" and everybody was happy!
Eastview is the best shopping the Rochester area. The Outlets are fun, not too far from Eastview. Woodcliff Hotel & Spa that I recommended above is really close to Eastview.
