“ Lemon Squeeze ”

I would like to go through the lemon squeeze and to skytop tower.Do I need to have day pass from Mohonk Mountain Resort or I can reach this destination from Mohonk preserve. Please advise.

You will need a Day Pass for both entering the Gate House to go to the Mountain House and also to enter the Preserve for walking around the grounds.

The Day Pass will allow you to walk the grounds of Mohonk after parking at the Gate House walking up to the area around the Mountain House, Gardens and towards the path to the Tower. You are not allowed to drive up to the Mountain House nor enter the Mountain House either.

A Day Guest Pass will allow you to come up for Lunch, Tea Time and also walk the grounds. You will drive up to the Mountain House where the car will be valet for you. You will leave before the Dinner Service starts as all Day Guests leave the Mountain.

You can go to the Mohonk Preserve Website to find the fee to enter the grounds from that entrance and also the time period the Preserve Entrance is available.

You can only enter the Lemon Squeeze or the Crevice as it is known as, can only be used during the better weather months like April-May to about November. It is very narrow and close quarters to work your way thru. Proper clothing and show wear is very necessary to wear.

I have done this several time over the 30+ years we have been visiting and staying at Mohonk.
