Montauk Forum: Train Station to Ferry Port?

There is a bus in Montauk that goes from downtown (where the train is) to the docks but not sure how often it runs. You should also know the LIRR train out to Montauk doesn't run that often. Depending on when you arrive at JFK, your other option is to take the

There's a Queens airport connection of the Jitney. You'd get there by taking a taxi from JFK to that stop (look on the Hampton website) and then get the Jitney (a big coach) to Montauk. It drops off in Montauk not too far from the train station and from there either a taxi or if the bus works for you. Depending on how many people are on the bus, you might even ask the Jitney driver if they'd drop you at the ferry. PM me if you have more questions.
