Hello Everyone!
I have been lucky enough to get a camping spot (for 4 adults)at Hither Hills for my husband's birthday. I've been camping before but not on a beach or at Hither Hills, any suggestions? I was lured in by the thought of a beach campfire but I have read contradicting information some saying that campfires are allowed but only with a ring which the camper must provide before peak season and some saying that it is not allowed at all. Could someone please let me know what the regulations are. Also we would like to fish but not on a charter boat we would like to do it on our own is a fishing permit required and where is the fishing allowed?
I'm very excited to be traveling out there! I've only been there once before and fell in love with Montauk. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
